The Bianconeri Appoint Previous Italy Boss the Experienced Gaffer

The Serie A powerhouse have chosen ex- Azzurri manager Luciano Spalletti to lead the team for the rest of the term.

Spalletti replaces his predecessor, who was let go post the Lazio setback on Sunday.

Tudor had joined the club in March as Thiago Motta's replacement but left after seven months at the end of an eight-match winless run.

Under Spalletti, Napoli clinched the Serie A championship in 2022-23 prior to assuming the Italy role, after the team's failure to reach the 2022 World Cup during Roberto Mancini's tenure.

He helped them qualify for Euro 2024 exiting in the last 16 stage against Switzerland.

Yet, the Italian FA let Spalletti go in June post a qualifying defeat against Norway, putting Italy in danger of missing a third straight World Cup.

He has previously coached Inter Milan, Roma, and Udinese in Italy's top flight and secured two Russian Premier League titles with Zenit St Petersburg.

Massimo Brambilla took interim charge of Juventus for their 3-1 win against Udinese on Wednesday placing them seventh in the Serie A standings - six points adrift of Napoli at the top after nine rounds.

Their Champions League campaign sees them in 25th place in the group stage, having lost once and drawn twice in their opening three matches.
